Grant Guidelines & Eligibility

Guidelines

The Reiter Family Foundation seeks to support organizations that are doing meaningful work to shape and sustain Colorado communities. Our areas of focus are housing and food security (February), education and youth programming (May), and environment and conservation (September), but we do welcome inquiries from non-profits who do not necessarily fit neatly into our focus areas. In terms of geographic location, we tend to focus our giving in the Denver Metro and Grand County areas of Colorado.

Elegibility

  • Applicants must have 501(c)3 status through the IRS.

  • Applicants must go through the full application process and follow through with reporting requirements should the grant be fulfilled.

  • Applicants can only submit one grant proposal each calendar year (January - December), but may apply again the following year unless otherwise advised.

2024 Fulfilled Grants

In the past year, our giving has been focused primarily on housing and rare disease medical research initiatives. We remain dedicated to supporting education and are excited to expand our efforts by partnering with more organizations focused on environmental/conservation causes in 2025.
