2025 Giving and Impact
2025 was a year of increased connections, an expanded network, and more targeted giving for the Reiter Family Foundation. While continuing to learn about and connect with the amazing non-profits who make up our local communities, we worked to fill in new or expanding gaps left by increased funding cuts. We’ve been honored to serve alongside our friends and neighbors to support local education initiatives, food access programs, housing, and conservation efforts.
2025 Giving Breakdown
Throughout this past year, we distributed $358,080 to 31 different organizations and were able to say “yes” to about 30% of our grant applicants. In terms of areas of impact, our funding breakdown was as follows: 27% to education, 25% to housing, 20% to environment/conservation, 12% to community enrichment, 9% to food access, and 7% to youth programming. As we continue to define our pillars and goals, this breakdown feels well-aligned with our current priorities.
Amidst all the uncertainly in the country and the non-profit sphere specifically, much of our hope comes from the stories of impact and transformation (see below for a few). We are inspired daily by the work being done by so many in the Denver Metro area and beyond. Thank you to all who dug in to do the hard but meaningful work in 20205, with grit, empathy, and determination. Cheers to a 2026 marked by kindness, community, and open hands and hearts.
